"Watch This! New Directions in the Art of the Moving Image"
Enter the mesmerizing world of video art in this new permanent gallery that takes stock of the cutting-edge tools and materials used by moving image artists during the past 50 years. The installation features key artworks from the early pioneers to those working today at the leading edge in new media art practices. The works range from Nam June Paik's early, innovative moving image experiments to Cory Arcangel's reworking of Nintendo games and obsolete computer systems.

Now on view: Cory Arcangel's 2008 Video Painting; Jim Campbell's 2009 Grand Central Station #2 and his 2006 Reconstruction #7; Peter Campus' 1973 Three Transitions; Kota Ezawa's 2008 LYAM 3D; Svetlana and Igor Kopystiansky's 2005 Yellow Sound; Nam June Paik's 9/23/69: Experiments with David Atwood; Bill Viola's 2001 Surrender and Marina Zurkow's 2009 Elixir II.
